two tuitions in a row..feeling a bit tired..

heavy rain in the afternoon..going to wenjing's hse with rh..his first time going to his hse..haha..reached abt 6plus..brought some grapes over..

ah di, ah ni, ah hun jiejie & kaiwei were there le..as usual kaiwei wld be glued to the computer..we were waiting for dinner..coz hungry le..wenjing's mum din prepare lei cha this time..but lots of delicacies..like prawns, chicken wings, 三層肉 & LAKSA!!! oh gosh..i love to eat laksa..heez..so i had 2 bowls of laksa..(small onez) & a bit of rice for prawns & chicken wings..two different cooking mtds of chicken wings..i love the one with flour..more cripsy & salty..heez..i think ah di was shocked to see my big appetite..i think they dunno tt i can eat a lot..haha..then wenjing was asking rh why he ate less than me.cant lose to me..i think rh paiseh lahz..heez

then we were glued to PS3..heez..watching shawn played was funny..he was playing car..tot the controller is the 方向盤..turn the controller with the game..haha..cutez..

really happy to slack there & happy that rh came..=)

Sport day!!

played tennis at 12plus..for one hr bahz..darn sunny..long time nv play le..some gd games..heez..

then we went swimming after tt..but i spent a long time talking to him in the pool..haha..in the end, i swam abt 6laps plus bahz..had his mum's sweet potato soup..my fav!!! yummy..

his parents were watching a video of them touring europe when rh was sec 2..saw his sis..abt 5yrs old..darn cutez lahz..i think his mum really miss his sis..

then we went running at mac res at 5pm..feeling is really different..felt tt i cld take bigger strides..not so tense..i think my body had warmed up properly..can run faster liaoz..heez..din manage to time but i feel timing shd be faster..can keep up with rh on the way back..tt shows sth lehz..well..maybe he slows down..haha..after tt, still ran a few times up the slopes..which is a training tt his boys muz do after running..still felt energetics..

funny speaker..i wld say he's gd at conveying lecture..using analogy of sandwich..saying how can we get full sandwich first then half..shd be stacking from the base..then slowly build up to half & then get the full..not bad right..his humor adds flavour to wat he's presenting..he took whole 1 hr to present his stuffs..but surprisingly, i dun find it very naggy..(not like me.haha)..the first part on wat type of boron cpds he's making..how he get them..how the ideas came abt..

the 2nd part deals with boron nanoparticles used in cancer therapy..i din expect a clinical use..as in..really in use now..he actually used it in treating brain tumors..he showed us correspondences btw the surgeon in japan & him..and also from the family..there showed a success in treating tumors..though some still died due to complications occurred before the treatment..so it was rather late..like his uncle..so he advised to go doc every yr for a check up.before things are too late..well a note for evil twins ahz..haha..his research was quite interesting..practical use..

then he ended off with pics of his students & pple who had advised him..then he mentioned tt the surgeon went for a sex change..it's true..well we were taken aback of coz..suddenly said this..haha..then he also mentioned that his students nv let him into the lab..so he resorted to check on them when all of them went back to rest..haha..faintz..

shd haf more of this kind of lecturers to make lessons more enjoyable..wahaha..

看了阿信的blog，很羨慕他的文字。。

我的華語已經退步了。。

以前會寫的字，現在只會念，寫嘛，很困難。。

很可悲吧。。

這是我們教育出了問題嗎？

以前有華校與英校，爸媽的年代。。

他們的語言比我們強吧。。

雖然我們能精通雙語，但都是半桶水。。

不然， 就是香蕉人。。

有幾個是華語說得很溜的？

我想，大多數的人應該和我一樣，功夫不到家。。

試想一想，在高中之後，語言課不是必修的。。

語言這東西，不時去閱讀，去應用，

怎會記得，進步。。

一定會退步的。。

有些人没上高中的話，中學是他們最後一次必修語言課了。。

這裡的第一語言又是英文。。

可想而知，我們的華文程度吧。。

雖然說要學好華語，因為中國市場大，

但卻將現有的華文課程再簡單化。。

好讓那些英派的人，不會因為華文一直不能掌握的好，而不能及格。。

那我倒覺得，以前的英校華校比較好。。

不是嗎？

我還是比較喜歡以華文表達我的想法。。

但有時候，以前會寫的字，盡然忘了怎麼寫。。

很傷心。。

最後，得用英文代寫。。

真失敗。。

我們的母語或許會轉為英文吧。。

是个不錯的學校。。如果老師還是不變。。

crosscountry的男生都很團結。。感情不錯。。很喜歡這種感覺。。

小男生在下斜坡的時候滑倒了，OH SHIT！ 接著聽到跌在坡上的聲音。。一定很痛！！

轉過頭看，只見他躺在地上。。

很痛！因為他想哭了。。也許在我面前不好意思。。膝蓋和手肘都擦傷了。。

還好只是皮外傷。。

但他還是很痛，不想起身。。

同伴來了，老師也來了。。

同伴和他一起走回去。。big boy 了，自己得忍著傷回去。。

跑了一圈，回去的途中看見他們。。這次，小男生的膝蓋，手肘都包紮好了。。

因為有阿兵哥的幫忙。。

回來時，只見學長背著他。。

很可愛吧。。

好久沒去釣蝦了。。半年？ 一年？

回到第一次去的地方。。靠近高爾夫球場。。上次的收穫是七只。。這次呢？

好像不幸運了。。等了大概半個鐘頭，終於讓我掀開序幕。。

釣到了！！！

兩個鐘頭的垂釣，收穫是兩隻。。

好啦！至少一人一隻嘛。。

當他要把它們燒烤時，盡然對我說：“好像很殘忍。。”

奇怪！上次你又不覺得。。還很開心能吃到新鮮的蝦子。。

可是，他還是吃得津津有味地。。

吃相很引人注目。。哈哈。。

很開心，因為你難得會送我回家。。哈

ECP for gd food！

went to ecp with him & his parents..they suggested to eat beef hor fun & satay bee hoon..i think they are the best in there coz it was darn long queue..we managed to find a seat & i went over to queue up with his dad first then him..quite big portion for 2 bucks of satay bee hoon..the beef hor fun is slight more expensive..but it's darn gd..i dun really take beef but so far of wat i haf tasted, the one in taiwan & the one here are gd..coz dun haf the beef smell..heez..i love the soup..yummy..finished one bowl on my own..heez.then shared a bit of satay bee hoon..rh had one bowl of beef hor fun & satay bee hoon to himself..darn full lahz..while his mum & dad shared..

recommend beef lovers to go there for good food..i think it's some stall which used to sell at macpherson..well..juz find the longest queue can le..haha..

老師，你好！！

和我的他談了一個晚上的感觸。。

老師到底必備甚麼條件？

我覺得，應該持有對教書的熱誠，凡事以學生著想。。

講起來很簡單，但能做到的，又有幾個？

身邊有個人，我很想跟她說。。

“請妳不要當老師。。因為我不想我們的下一代被妳摧毀。。

我覺得妳沒有資格當老師。。妳根本沒有為學生著想的態度。。

我想，妳只是看上那份薪水吧。。”

她的性格，能當老師嗎？

虛偽，很厲害利用人。。

這樣的人能當老師嗎？

也有遇到另外一個人。。

老實說，這樣的老師，我對我們的下一代實在沒有信心。。

做錯事竟然不承認錯誤，反而裝傻。。

很噁心。。

虧你還是拿奬學金的。。

真令人作嘔。。

也聽過很多故事。。

例如：老師當中把成績差的學生指名道姓。。

因為不照著傳統的做法，就改錯，但學生的答案是對的。。

老師把自己學生的考卷，po在自己的blog，取笑他們。。

老師當众羞辱學生（我的經歷）。。

很多人是為了優厚的薪水而選擇當老師的。。

這是我的看法。。

有幾個是真正想教育下一代呢？

老實說，問一問自己。。

在妳學業的生涯，曾有遇過好的老師嗎？

我很幸運，雖然我也有遇過超爛的老師，

我能說： 我有遇過。。

如果你只是看上那優厚的薪水，我勸你三思。。

因為當老師也很不容易，

還有不要糟蹋我們的下一代。。

因為學生也能感受你的誠意有多少。。

我的命

raining..made my way to tuition..i had this hunch..tt the family wld forget there's tuition today..coz this week is the march hols for the kids..

i made a special trip down to the guard hse since the security guard requested last week..was early so i cld make my way to the inaccessible front gate of the condo..side gate is juz besides the bus stop where i alighted..as i walked nearer, i realised the lights were off..tried my luck to call the hse..no one picked up..called her dad..well he forgot & brought them out for dinner..he told me to go home to rest & he wld pay for tonight as well..

這是我的命吧。。

不是第一次了。。

但，我相信，我的運氣應該有轉變。。

不勞而獲，不是嗎？

rainy run

went bugis yest..saw a bag at 20bucks only..but i dun really like the design..but it's the best i saw there..wanted to head back to buy but the shop closed quite early..but i haf decided..i think i still prefer the one in amk hub..see how lahz..

went to IT fair today..darn crowded..i was bringing big bag since going running later..my weekly event ahz..so a bit difficult for me to move ard..after a while, rh got like a bit sianz..coz so many pple & we were carrying big bags + we not buying anything..so decided to shop ard..since it still far from 4.30pm..but there was a rather gd offer there..epson printer at 98 bucks..not bad..tot i shd get one..but then the tot of bringing it to mac res..then back home..OH NO!!

shopped ard at suntec "My Playground"..he nv come here before..dun really haf the mood to shop..so juz did window shopping..in the end, we rested at a waffles shop..oh the ambience is gd..very comfortable..we sat at one corner & started deciding wat to order..haha..choc fondue!!! so i sort of teased him to order this coz i knew he wld not order..not cheap lehz..then when he asked the waitress to recommend, the waitress recommended the fondue too! since it's for 2 pple..haha..i wanted to laugh out but i controlled it..haha..in the end, we ordered waffles with a scoop of ice cream..abt 5 bucks plus..not cheap right..but the waffles tasted gd..it's different from wat we eat outside..different shape also..but a bit small portion lahz..haha..but nvm..we hardly see these..so once in a while it's ok..

then it started to pour..luckily i din buy the printer..we took cab down..ran in rain..on & off..

was on the same bus as one of his students..had a talk with him since he juz grad from jc..thinking of where to go..

AMK Hub

was here yest with er jie..to meet up to chat..we stayed in mos burger to chat the whole night..

today came here again..& had mos burger for dinner again.haha..but i had different set meal lahz..long time nv meet them too..we went shopping..well i think teachers draw gd pays ahz..only 小誡  & 小悟 were buying things..haha..they made a headstart...小誡 ahz..always buy similar things..like white tops, yellow tops..i darn bad to tell her stop buying those..haha..when she's trying..

went into a shop where we saw nice tops..i bought one there too..initially wanted to buy the other but the sleeve made my arms look fat..haha..not bad..but the color of the top, i love it..but too bad..so i bought the other onez..heez..

saw a bag tt i'm thinking of getting..but the price ahz..dunno if bugis village offers a better rate..so wld like to check it out before i made my decision..but i will rem the shop which sells this bag..i'll be back..

Victoria Day

dear drove me from my tuition kid's hse to vivocity..we were heading to his sch for dinner tonight..it's Victorian Day..so they haf dinner..so dear invited me..

went vivocity to buy his sis's gift & also shopped ard..long time nv come here le..

then we headed to VS..he showed me ard..so long time nv go back to sec sch..it feels like pri sch campus..dunno why..njc dun seem to be like this..maybe sec sch yrs were too far back for me..i tot i'm in pri sch campus..nice campus they haf..went to visit his workplace..not bad..he's in gd r/s with his colleagues..

then we went to pe staff room..where we had a long chat with his colleague..who was darn into wushu..he's gd..he knows a lot more stuffs abt aikido than me..well i shd say, i dun read up..i juz practice coz i wan to..w/o reading its history..nice chat with him..

then the dinner..was so surprised that his principal is quite young..so funny..rh so big shot ahz..let his principal comes to greet him first..haha..he was quite paiseh also..then got to see the kids..rem jialin & jiale! wahaha..jialin dun like the PA system..was covering her ears thruout and whenever there's music..jiale grew up so fast..kids are like tt..they grow up quite fast..he got unique hair style which resembles beckham's..haha..it's natural..so cutez..

rh got the best newcomer award today..the plaque..which was given out by teo ser luck, an old boy..dinner was not bad..heez..all i was concentrating on..

seems like VS is a gd sch..they are quite united..quite like this feel..even the principal is friendly..i think rh got a gd sch & i'm glad he's doing darn well..=) maybe shd consider to send my child, in future, to vs..haha..

after the dinner, we went to ecp..which was near..coz we got car..heez..stayed a while in the arcade & played the shooting game..darn fun!!! then walked ard..saw 孔明燈..i was like..wat's tt..he said it's kongming latern..but i replied: how can tt be..in the end, it's really kongming latern..quite smart to bring it here..

went back at 1plus..coz we hollan a bit..haha..
