Lab meeting..
was too tired i think..drove crazy by the kids..i dunno..but this morning i received a msg from weng siang..thinking tt it's from the kids..dunno wat acid oxidation reaction..where it shd be juz purifying..then i replied very pissed to the person..then i think abt it after tt..it's seem to be another name..oopz..i very blur..he wanted to show me how to functionalise the nanodiamonds..really pai seh lohz.
busy day today..ask the kids to do the stuffs..they said they know ahz..so i dun wan to nag besides them..let them try on their own..then i went off to see how weng siang did his stuffs..after one hr, me back in lab..to find they nt doing much..
tidying up the chemical list..to finalise as much as possible..really busy..till i forgot to check email..supposed to meet another prof..oh no..he replied..but i went for nmr..taking the kids along..
grp meeting..me no time to do slides..i heck le..been busy the whole day..i knew the kids din leave our office..i juz afraid they forget to lock the office before they went..so i went out to check..true enough..they were chatting there..i drove them off..evil me..dun care..
then returned to mtg room when boss asked abt them..haha..got permission to whack lehz..heez..anyway i trying to be funny with boss..heez..he mentioned last week tt this week undergrad presents..the thing is, i'm NOT an undergrad..nor grad student..heez..so i asked the undergrad to present first..since they got slides..then boss said:"u wan me to invite u ahz" "i'm not an undergrad" then everyone burst out laughing..heez..but in the end, i told him wat i would be doing..
learnt sth from mtg, laziness is a virtue..rem it ahz..
SD's pre-oral defense..boss said" it sucks" after the intro..well i think so..the organisation is nt there..we spent 3 hrs on it manz..luckily, meaniac ordered pizza for dinner..if nt i would starve to death..the animation is weird..i would rather she dun haf animation..she dun really accept wat we said..but hopefully some changes are made..it's really CMI..nt tt i too high std..she got a lot fo contents..but the presentation is bad..it's a waste..
